And the guidebook sounds neat. I need to pick it up sometime. I have the guides for DQ VIII and IV.

I never played any of the Dragon Quest games. There was a huge point in my life where the only thing I played was sports games. Now I hardly play sports game. I am tempted to eventually pick this up.

Ha, I always buy strategy guides for RPGs when they come out, even if I don't plan on using them right away. You're right, sometimes those damn things can become ridiculously expensive. More expensive than the game itself many times.
