Im not a fan of 3D but i must say, playing lego star wars was pretty damn cool! It makes me want to get a 3DS even sooner, so yea...pretty awesome overall, really cool to see 3D happenin with out some funky glasses. 3DS is gonna rock in time here thats for sure, good job again Nintendo  |

I'm not a big fan of those LEGO games, but I hear everyone else really digs them. I must be an outlier, ha ha.
Pilotwings Resort is pretty cool, and the 3D effect kinda helps too. Have you been able to try that one?

Not yet Grant, when i was in Target the only model they had setup was with Lego Star Wars. Im sort of burnt out on lego games but i was able to see the 3D effect and i went in expecting nothing major, but i think that the 3D aspect is pretty damn cool overall.
Im lookin forward to seeing what games utilize it even further. But yea havent played Pilotwings yet, is it as good as the SNES original?

PilotWings is basically Sports Resort with planes. It's cool for the first few minutes but I started to get bored pretty quickly. I don't recommend paying full price for it if anyone is actually interested in owning it. I say rent or borrow it first.

If you were at target and didnt have a ds at all.. would you buy the 3DS for $250 vs maybe getting a gently used DSi for <$120?

nah, i'd still recommend either a DSi or a DSi XL as a main DS since BC games apparently have borders and what not and don't look as great as on an XL by a long shot on a 3DS (only going on what i have heard from people here)

I tried the demo station they had set up at Gamestop the other day. Played around with the 3d too and it gave me a pretty bad headache just from a few minutes(I don't like 3d movies either). So I might just skip this one unless somehow they improve on it in a different model or something.
Also, I don't know if it was the way it was mounted to the wall but it was really awkward to hold to me.
