This of course, only applies to PSN downloads. The PSP successor ('Vita' I believe it's called?) does not have a UMD drive. So like usual, Sony's backward compatibility is a little hokey.
Good news for PSP Go owners looking to upgrade, though!

The only thing I do recall tho was Sony mentioning about being able to register your umd games to download them on NGP, but I'm not sure if I heard That right.

Yeah, unfortunately for me, all of my PSP games are UMD. Would be cool if there was a way to transfer them over, though.

Neo, I at one time thought I remember reading they will find a way to accomodate all of us non "pspgo" users  but im not sure, i wonder if they are able to just have a person enter a barcode if they own the game and can download it. Either way, ill be bummed if they dont find a way. BUT, on the other hand it sort of adds a collector aspect too it by having UMDs sort of in the past etc..and will give me a reason to definitly keep the PSPs i have. |

Definitely. On one hand, I can appreciate the move to digital game releases. On the other, I am a collector at heart, and I will miss having the shelf in my office stacked with game cases.
