"In February N-Space announced that it would be releasing three games for the 3DS. Now, with just over a week until E3, some details have been leaked about one of the projects.
Square Enix last month registered the game title ‘Heroes of Ruin’ this is the same title N-Space have now talked about releasing. So far the image above is the only clue as to what the game will look like. The image, along with a post about the game appeared on the N-Space Facebook page, but has since been deleted. Little details are known on the game at present, but from the image I have a strong RPG feeling, along with some kind of multiplayer aspect.
The multiplayer hopes have not come from N-Space themselves but handheldgamingblog is saying that the game will feature an online multiplayer mode, that can be played with four friends. This sounds like quite a step up from the online options we have seen on the 3DS so far, and I’m sure this feature would be welcomed by all Nintendo fans. More information should surface soon, hopefully at E3."
Other tidbits from Nintendo Power:
- supports drop in/drop out co-op play
- up to four players anywhere in the world
- four diverse classes
- customize with weapons, armor, class abilities
- story-driven quest
- real time chat via built in mic
- new content/daily challenges via SpotPass
That last bullet point sounds interesting to me. New challenges, daily? Wow. Gotta love voice chat being enabled, too. By the way, does this mean n-Space is no longer working with Activision? If so, I wonder who's gonna be developing the Call of Duty games on 3DS? It's not like that franchise isn't going to hit the new handheld, after all...
