For the 3DS... nintendo3dsblog.com/miyamoto-wants-to-remake-a-link-to-the-past-for-the-3ds
Shigeru Miyamoto has told EDGE Magazine that he would like to remake a classic Zelda title for the 3DS, specifically singling out A Link to the Past as his preffered choice. He went on to say:
Do you remember Xevious? It’s two-layered and I really wanted to create that at the time. So to see Link To The Past in two layers would be quite attractive for me.
But being unfamiliar with Xevious I’m a little unsure of what he’s actually saying. Nevertheless, it’s sounds like Ocarina of Time 3D won’t be the last remake of Zelda to grace our glorious 3D displays. Of course, an original Zelda at some point would be great too, but there’s still plenty of time for that. |

It is funny because I know I played that one but I don't really remember it. The only reason I have been tempted to pick up a Wii again these last few years is for Zelda. If more Zelda titles hit the 3DS I would have to seriously think about picking one up.

I would definitely play a 3D remake of LttP. It's such a classic.
Hopefully they will have new stuff, though, too. ^_^

But they already made 3D Dot Game Heroes!  Anyway, I played A Link to the Past again about 2 years ago, and while the game is still fantastic, the dungeon design (especially the bosses) feel a little dated now. I would hope that, if they remake it, they can sort of rework the dungeons a little bit. Not too much... LttP was still an excellent game. |

Myeh. No more remakes, please. I'd rather have new games to play.
I'm not a big fan of this idea - A Link To The Past is easily my least-favorite Zelda game.

Sounds interesting, but I always enjoyed 3D Zelda games more. But I'd still buy it and love it to death.

I'd rather have the treatment that Nintendo is giving to Ocarina, giving to Majora's Mask next.
I really love Majora's and would love to see a remake of the game.

LTTP is probably my favorite zelda game, so this would easily be a day 1 purchase for me!

That game imo, is unremakable. It was too stunning to remake, the 3DS, sorry to say will just ruin it.

Well, when i end up getting a 3DS im gonna need more than shovel ware to keep it from going back for credit.

I'm kind of beside myself.
A part of me wants to let a classic stay a classic with everything being "remade" just like in the movie theaters.
...However, there's something about potentially being up on that death mountain as a little rabbit that I really want to see in 3D. And seeing that troll kid kick around the squid would be pretty funny too.
