I really miss ESPN having hockey.  I think that it would really grow if they had ESPN to hype it. There is lots of talent in the league but no one knows about it. |

I'm with ya, Obi, but honestly the ESPN didn't care enough about the NHL and the Vs deal means more money to the League, and for THIS League, that is important. The biggest pisser is during the hockey season when ESPN will just plain skip the NHL on its ticker at the bottom of the screen. That is BS. |

I read somewhere that ESPN actually tried to get it back. I think that it was a lowball offer though becuase the NHL went with Versus/NBC for 10 years.
ESPN totally slants things towards their own sports. The entire media does it for sure with their own agendas but I notice it a lot on ESPN. Sometimes, it's extremely annoying.
