NFL deal 85% done

Part of me finds it ridiculous that this situation existed in the first place.

Part of me hates the owners.

Part of me hates some of the players.

Part of me knew they'd work it out before the season started.

Part of me it's glad that they're even reporting it's near completion and almost over.

Part of me likes the fact you watch PTI. Do you also watch Around the Horn?

Ya know Dunker I hear ya but you know what I do? I just put it behind me because it'll never change regardless if what I think or know so I don't bother trying, I Agree it's stupid they even got to it but what can ya do ya know?

I've always told myself if I thought too much about sports and the greed I'd stop watching, if I let it get to me. But I just care about a season and I'm so glad to hear of the progress even tho Its a silly situation.

I heard Adam Schefter on ESPN radio and he wouldn't give a percentage but he doesn't think it will get done in the next few weeks. He also said he was told that the progress they made almost blew up last night so anything can happen. He thinks it will get done in the week after July 4 but he is optimistic now that it will get done. Let's hope so.

I definitely just want my football. I'm with ya there.

It's just the overall stupidity of the situation that bothers me. Sad thing is, once football is back, by October the only memory I'll have of this is when Boomer brings it up on Monday night.

Yep im with you guys i just want some football, but i agree the situation is just stupid. And i feel this garbage needs done in their own spare time and not on the clock of the fans.

Now i know we havent hit the season yet so really its not on our clock, but they need to realize that its US that line their pockets, if there are no fans there is no money...and they better get this worked out. I feel it will get done though honestly, too much money will be lost if they dont start a season so i think it will be worked out soon.

I hope this gets done. We need some news on football. I can't survive all summer without reading and getting ready for the season.

With hockey and basketball done, we definitely need free agents to start signing.

Yeah even when they are 99% agreed, that final 1 % will be the real issues that gring everything to a halt.

Fans are the one's who get screwed. We can say we won't come back, or we won't watch, but they know we will be back as soon as they take the field. The product is just so damn good!
