Are they totally worth it for games?

Im curious..i just would like to know a little more about them in terms of which one is good, i noticed theres an iPad2 out..is that the one to definitly get or...?

I would not buy one just for games although there are a lot of great games out there.

I have the Ipad 2 and basically it's my favorite toy.

Awesome features:

Netflix - Wherever you are, at your fingertips and the image is incredible.
HBO Go - Every episode of every HBO series, including current season plus movies and other stuff.
FaceChat-Family, friends anywhere in your face/
NBA Jam-Epic and Nostalgic
Magazines (I have SI, ESPN, Maxim and Popular Photography) Coolest part the links, videos and interactive features you can click on. It is like a magazine with benefits.
Flipboard which is like a magazine designed for you with all the things that interest you pulled from other sources.

Overall the screen is gorgeous, the options are endless and it's loads of fun.
