.hack//sign Neon Genesis Evangelion COWBOY BEBOP Noir Madlax The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya any of the Slayers series and the movies are really good too Excel Saga Magical Witch Punie Chan Bludgeoning Angel Dokuro-Chan The Irresposible Captain Tylor There's my recommendations for ya. I tossed in a good bit of really crazy comedies, and back up a few of the other recommendations. There are plenty of good anime out there, but some just aren't for everybody.

If you want a list from me itl take me 30+min to put everything down ive got over 50 manga im reading ATM and about 18 anime. All weekly anime or OVA that come out when ever they feel like releasing it. As for the manga most are weekly but a lot are old and get released in batches or by the month. If your looking for a couple good sites I use 4 different anime sites and 3 different manga sites all work real well. Some series can only be found on one or 2 of those sites but most share majority of them. What ever tickles yer fancy can be found in those if not i know a couple more i can link. ( should also mention ive pretty much watched anything made in the last 10 years that is play able on these sights thats worth watching other then the REALY girly crap so if you want suggestions shoot a reply here or a PM ) www.animeshippuuden.com/www.watchanimeon.com/ < also has one of my manga sites attached to it www.animecrazy.net/www.animefreak.tv/ < another one of my manga sites attached Above are my anime Below Manga www.mangareader.net/www.citymanga.com/mangastream.com/ < caters only a few series www.mangafox.com/

if you want to watch something short sweet and awesome (with lots of explosions and bullets in the middle) Gurren Laggan's 22(?) episode series is simply amazing.
most of those mentioned above are highly praised and are loved by hundreds upon thousands maybe millions but just stating that those would be good views and reads too

A Song of Ice and Fire
If you like history, check out Steve Berry's Cotton Malone books. Great thrillers that bring in real historical facts and build on them in a historical fiction way. Great reads.
