American Standard is probably my favorite album of all time, but there second album didn't impress me so I kind of lost them.
I just Googled them up and they have like 8 albums now. Are any of these as good as the orginal? Or even come close?

They dropped the "Pearl Jam" sound for a more straight out modern rock approach. I think it's cool that this band has stayed together for so long since thet're very much an under ground band now. Check out there third album "Orange Ave." I think it's there best besides the debut.

Yeah lost touch a long time ago. Like you I listened to and liked the first but really haven't followed since. Always kind of figured they were a one album wonder.

This Orange Ave is actually not bad, I am digging about 4 or 5 of the songs. Definitely not the rockin edge from their first album. More smooth rock almost with a country twinge at times.
I may have to continue to expand my 7 Mary 3 horizons.

I thought that American Standard was by far the best, but a couple of years back I got Dislocation, I think was the name of it. It's a pretty awesome CD, much better production than the old stuff. But that's to be expected these days.
It's defintely worth a listen, I think.

Thanks Seranix. I am really liking Orange Ave and I have always loved American Standard.
I will have to check out Dislocation, actually looks like it is called Dis/Location.
Not available for download on Amazon. I will have to check out Itunes

Not on ITunes either. Weird
On the 7 Mary 3 site, they have album downloads, but this one is CD only no downloading and when I click the Buy button it crashes.
Amazon has it for $16.56 in CD form, seems super steep.

I think I actually found it at a used CD shop, those are some of my favorite stores. You might be able to find "Subway Tunnel microphone" or "Blue letter" on youtube, really good songs.

I was a fan back when they first surfaced but outside of the radio hits, I haven't really followed them at all. But with all this talk I may check some of their newer tunes out. Who knows, I may like what I hear.
