Appetite but if I could combine songs from the Use Your Illusions that would win out. Estranged is still one of my favorite all time songs. I can't listen to that song once. I have to replay it. Didn't care for Chinese Democracy at all. When I think of GnR I get more sad at what could have been with them.

Definitely Appetite. But the Use Your Illusions had some really awesome songs.

AFD for sure. It is one of the best albums of all time. Illusions would have been up there if they would have condensed it into 1 album.
I love love love the acoustic side to Lies too.

think about all the debuts out there. appetite really just might be the best. the only thing i can think that comes close it pearl jam - ten. Pearl Jam-Ten  I remember when I first heard that album before they got really big only because my cousin said he thinks I would like them. I played the album and immediately played it again. Love that album. |

Had to come on here and show some love for Chinese Democracy. I have to say I really loved this album, only problem is it was a little to ballad heavy.
It's hard to go wrong with any GNR album though and AFD is great!

Had to come on here and show some love for Chinese Democracy. I have to say I really loved this album, only problem is it was a little to ballad heavy. It's hard to go wrong with any GNR album though and AFD is great! Good to see you enjoyed it too JM! |

Always thought Chinese Democracy was the biggest let down pos ever. Tellin ya Tom, its there...the GNR feel is there you gotta just shake off some of the weird funkiness of some songs and forget past GNR, and just listen..and im tellin ya you can find some amazing tunes in that album. I hated it so bad at first, but i found the light. |

Always thought Chinese Democracy was the biggest let down pos ever. The best way to approach this album is to just forget it's GNR. That's easy for me to do because GNR ISN"T the same band they were back in the day. Just Axel and his revolving line of members. With that thought in my head, I really got a lot of enjoyment out of Chinese Democracy. Their are some good songs on the album if you approach it without the APPETITE expectations... |
