With so many remakes being made or developed these days, I was wondering if there's a film anyone would actually like to see remade, and why?

A reboot of Ghostbusters.
I would rather see a actual sequel but if Bill Murray won't agree to be in a 3rd movie then a reboot would be ok.

I know some may strike me down for this.... BUT...I would love to see the Goonies come back. Now i would take it as a reboot or even just a new batch of goonies. The reason i say this is i would love to see a new group of kids coming up as actors like we seen with all the kids from Goonies. We dont really see that as much anymore. Im the hugest Goonie fan in the world and i also feel some things are left untouched, but damn...i would be curious to see a reboot or remake

Remake of John Carpenter's The Thing. But staying true to The Thing and not trying to add any stupid things or take things out.

I'm kind of torn. I love all the old movies and don't know if I would want them remade.
Goonies and Ghostbusters are great. I don't know if I could watch a Ghostbusters without Bill Murray but I could I also see it beeing very cool for kids to have that experiance. Goonies could be re-made with some new kids if done right.
He-man is a good choice. They could make some cool stuff with CGI. They would need to bring back the cartoon first though to build up some excitement with kids.
Crazy as it may sound. I'd like to see some new Star Wars movies. Something with totally new characters but set in the universe. I don't understand why they haven't done that yet. Knights of the Old Republic made some great stories so I don't understand why they can't think of anything to do with the movies.

I'd like to see mean streets or something like that that has become dated but can't think of any actors who could replace de Niro or kietel.
Some fantasy films like never ending story would be real good too as the effects back then were veery poor so I think it would look great in a remake

Instead of a remake, how about a movie that should be stricken from all existence?
I nominate Spider-Man 3. What a fucking atrocity.
After that shit movie I'm glad they're rebooting Spider-Man. The first movie was a great intro, but some of the subtleties of Spider-Man could have been developed more. Plus after watching it now, the Green Goblin's costume just looks so fake and plastic-y and makes the movie feel cheap. The second movie was brilliant in capturing all the emotions of Spider-Man in a couple of hours, but some of the pacing was off. The middle act dragged on for far too long; there needed to be more action. And throughout all movies there were not enough witty one-liners; so those need to make a comeback.

The Neverending Story would probably look amazing with today's CGI.

A remake of Jim Henson's Labyrinth could look cool with CGI effects, the same goes for the Neverending Story. But I think Mortal Kombat needs a new movie with one that follows the characters' back stories.
I'm glad they're making a reboot of the Spiderman movies. They could do some really awesome things with those.

A remake of Jim Henson's Labyrinth could look cool with CGI effects, the same goes for the Neverending Story. As long as the puppets stay I'd be interested in another stab at making a live action Spawn movie except it would have to be real proper this time and none of this toned down bullshit.

The Goonies? You can't touch that movie. No one will EVER be able to do the Truffle Shuffle like that. EVER. I love that movie. Plus, it was filmed near where I grew up, lol.
Remakes? Meh, why remake movies?? Is no one original these days? Just restore some old classics and bring those back so we can appreciate real acting before all this CGI stuff.
I love black & white films, silent movies especially. Probably because of my hearing impairment, I seem to read them in closed captioning anyway, LOL.
