Christian Bale, thanks to his work in The Prestige and new Batman movies.
Amy Adams. I loved her in Enchanted, Sunshine Cleaning, Junebug, Catch Me if You Can, Doubt, and several others.
Kate Winslet. First saw her in Titanic, it was excellent. I've seen just about everything she's done since then and if you've never seen The Reader, then you should.
I'l think of some more later.

I really love Michael Fassbender these days, not sure why, he just has a great screen presence and looks like an incredibly likable guy. He also seems to have a good range as i can picture him just as much as a bad guy than good guy!

I was like, omg! there he is! My favourite actor is Tom Hanks (Forest Gump!) and Brad Pitt (Assassination of Jesse James) and actress goes to Zooey Deschanel and Cate Blanchett. Hanks/ Pitt just have range and my favorite movies of all time stars them. Actress is a bit harder but Zooey is just so cute to watch while Blanchett is tremendous in her roles.

Yea I love Tom Hanks. I just wish...he would do a comedy every now and then. Just even here and there, it can be more mature of course, but man i think hes hilarious. I love Money Pit, The Burbs, Turner and Hooch, Big etc....i think they are still some of the funnier movies, i miss him as a comedy actor.

Nathan Fillion. My favorite role that he's done is Captain Mal from Firefly/Serenity. But he's also good in Castle and Dr. Horrible's Sing Along or whatever it's called. Plus, he did the voice for Buck in Halo ODST and Reach (Firefight). Gina Torres is one of my favorite actresses. Firefly/Serenity, Cleopatra 2525, and Xena I think are the ones I am most familiar with.

10 years ago, Seth, I would not have given him too much credit at all, even though he had an Academy Award nomination under his belt (What's Eating Gilbert Grape?" Times have changed, Leo DiCaprio has been as good as anyone out there for a long time and can easily carry a movie with little or no help. Actress? Amy Adams, acting wise. In general, Olivia Wilde, because..well...she's Olivia Wilde.

Tom Hanks ever since watching Bosom Buddies & Splash as a kid in the early 80's. He's got some sort of goofy, relatable appeal.
John Cusack. It's mainly a nostalgia thing with me. I remember seeing him around in the 80's but never paid that much attention to him until "Say Anything". Lloyd Dobler was the man.
Joan Cusack. I like the way she talks. Plus she's John's sister of course. lol Really dig seeing both siblings act.
Jimmy Stewart. Probably sort of the same reason I dig Tom Hanks. Stewart was sort of goofy but very much a relatable "everyman" type.

Cristian bale is the man, batmans, the fighter, the machinist and pretty much every role he really throws himself Into them, probably the most involve since De Niro tbh.
De Niro has to be he biggest grandaddy actor of them all.
Denzil is always great watching too no matter what type of role or film he is just so watchable.
The guy I just can't take my eyes off when onscreen lately is Christopher Waltz, the Jew hunter from inglorious bastards, green hornet and water for elephants. He just has such a presence that just seems to Grab your sole attention. Totally awesome.
I've always quite liked Ryan Gosling cuz he hand picks his scripts and is very fussy about what he does, quite often low budget but he has to act his ass off to carry the film and he usually does unbelievably well.
And finally Robert Downey jr is the man right now, Sherlock holmes was just brilliant and even the iron mans etc.
Oh PS, I've never liked Bradley cooper there's something about him that just annoys me dunno if he came across as smug or smarmy or what it is but after watching limitless I've changed my mind on him and quite like him now

I see Amy Adams and Nathan Fillion mentioned in this thread and I feel satisfied. I would totally hang out all day with Amy Adams (plus, she had DAT ASS in Night at the Museum), and Fillion just oozes charisma.
I like all the others mentioned too, so I guess I'll just go ahead and mention ones I haven't seen:
Tony Shalhoub - I love him as Monk, but I've never really been fond of him in movie roles like the one he had in Men in Black.
Hugh Laurie - I love how he portrays House and he delivers the best sarcastic wit-liners.
Alison Brie - She's so damn cute on Community.
Chevy Chase - Community and the National Lampoon's Vacation movies.
Steve Carell - I've loved him in every role, specifically in Anchorman and The Office.
Rainn Wilson - I like his geeky and headstrong characters, especially in The Office.
Hugh Jackman - I think I like his accent.
Rachel McAdams - I don't care what the movie is if she's in it then I'll watch it. Prettiest smile in the business.
Scarlett Johansson - Same as above, only with tits.
Harrison Ford - Because HAN FUCKING SHOT FIRST.

Hugh Laurie - I love how he portrays House and he delivers the best sarcastic wit-liners. This is another big one for me. Even though it's T.V., Hugh Laurie just nails it. Get's me every episode.

My 2 favorite (male) actors are Daniel Day-Lewis and Gary Oldman. I have never seen either of these men perform in a role that has been nothing short of excellent.

Liam Neeson, he's been everything from Raz al Gul to Aslan, to Col. Hannibal to the cold as ice in Taken.
I'm sure there are more but that's just off the top of my head.

Philip Seymour Hoffman - the epitome of what a character actor should be. I can't think of a single movie that I didn't think he was brilliant in.
I could list pros and cons for dozens of actors. But, honestly, that would take way too long.
