What exists for modern space games that I may have missed out?
I have X3: Terran Conflict on Steam, but never played it.
I picked up Freespace 2 on GOG last summer, downloaded a few texture packs for it to make it modern and then deleted it lol.
I was really hoping to find something like Privateer to play through again. I would play Privateer again, but the lack of scaling to modern day resolutions just kills me.
What kicked this off? I bought an ipad2 last week and downloaded Galaxy on Fire 2, which is basically Privateer. Awesome game that plays great on the ipad, but I want it on a real pc.
Any thoughts?
