I've had this with certain games. I'll play for an extended amount of time (like an hour or more) and I'll start to feel nauseaus, slight headache, etc.
My first encounter with it was half life 2 I think. The head bobbing really does me in sometimes and limits how long I can play a game for.
Usually it's limited to FPS games but infamous has been causing it :/ RPGs dont give me any issues at all.
Anyone else have this issue?

I've only got headaches from playing games with FPS that jumps a lot (even if it's 120-150 FPS). I set all PC games to max at 60. I know when I first got M&B I kept getting sick playing it until I set the max FPS to 60. Some old shooter did it to me as well (I think it was UT) until I limited it.

Sometimes I get this, but if I do, it is usually because my ears are getting plugged with wax.
Serious. I know that sounds retarded, but the problem with me is that in late June and early July, the humidity increases and the wax build up in my ears gets moist and expands, throwing my inner ear off balance and causing me to get vertigo when I play games.
Last week, I tried playing Lost Oddyssey. I felt fine and after 1 hour of play, I ended up flat on my back for 4 hours due to vertigo and the room spinning like crazy.
I spent the next few days using Cerumol to clean out my ears and then I used a ear wash to blow the wax out (tonnes of shit in my ear, gross) of my ear yesterday.... but I can play again.
This has happened to me the last 6 years now.

Half Life 2 is the only game that's ever done this to me. I was an hour, maybe two in, driving a boat when I felt like I was going to be sick. Fired it up again the day after and felt the same way. I had to give that one away.

The only time it happened, it was playing the original Wolfenstein. Don't know why it happened, the truth is, it happened. But it was only that time. Never had it again in my life.

This has only happened to me with a couple games. Playing Halo: Combat Evolved when I was little I would stay up all night and play it with my dad and directly after turning it off I would feel utterly sick to my stomach. It sucked. But I think I've gotten over it now.
The only other time this had happened is when I was playing Brutal Legend at the level where you have to capture the metal beasts. It gave me such a headache driving around in circles - and it didn't help that I was getting super frustrated.
On the same note, I get a little whoosie when playing Rock Band for awhile.
I think it just depends on the person and what games they constantly play. I don't know if it's possible to establish and immunity to feeling sick after/during playing certain game types, but I no longer get sick playing FPS. Is that weird?

Nope. Never happens to me. My wife can't watch games like FPS's without getting motion sick though. The camera swings just do her in. When playing third person action games I have to be careful not to swing the camera around too much either.

Is that weird? i read that sometimes you can build up an immunity since the initial reaction your brain thinks when you get a disconnect between your senses is that youre poisoned. Obviously your body should realize that you cant be poisoned for such a long period of time day in and day out without dying so it should get the hint. i used to be fine with fps games... i played r6 and counterstrike for so many hours and didnt get sick. i think it happened when games got more realistic like half life 2. that boat riding really owned me.

Sometimes, mainly with FPSs if I've played them for an extended period. I think I first experienced it with Half Life 2.
