I'm slowly falling in love with this series, i've been playing 3 FES for about 4 hours straight now and its too fun. My only question is why do they have to shoot themselves to get their persona's out?

I lol everytime this chick in my party summons her persona because she puts the gun in her mouth and pulls the trigger. At first i was like "WTFHOLYASHFUAH!" then i realize she was healing us

People tend to either love or hate the Persona series. I don't see much middle ground. I happen to really love them. I beat 3 FES long ago, and now I am about to finish P3P. If you are enjoying FES, you will really love Persona 4. It's the best in the series, and my favorite PS2 game period.

The concept behind three is about "facing death" and coming to terms with it. hence, the way to evoke the "persona" of the characters is in such a way that would seem as such.
It's all a concept that's just working together.
In 4, it's all about card crushing. And just so you know, 3 is about facing death, but 4 is about the journey of life.
Also, be wary of thinking you'll like the persona series off these two games.
Most people seem to love these since they're the newer versions of the series, but never seem to stick strong to the older versions. (Which were some of the best childhood RPG memories to me, honestly.)
And if you like those, I highly suggest getting Shin Megami Tensei:Nocturne.

Yes - Nocturne is on PS2. Same with Digital Devil Saga, another good series from them. They're releasing some of the older Persona games on the PSP now as well. Can't wait for P5
