Personally, i loved Wind Waker. I thought the game was just charming from start to finish, i had only wish Link wasnt so young lookin but that was the only minor qualm i had. Overall i thought it was a great Zelda, not the best, but id personally put it in my top 5 Zelda games.
Who else really enjoyed Wind Waker? Who really disliked it?

I loved Wind Waker. Sometimes the sailing was a pain, but on the other hand, I loved pulling up treasure.
The music from Wind Waker is probably overall my favorite in the series. I guess that's appropriate since he basically wielded a symphony wand.
The only reason I stopped playing at one point was because I thought I would need to get all the heart containers, and it was kind of a chore to do that. Finally I decided I didn't really need all of them, though, and went about finishing the game, and absolutely loved it.
I know people still to this day rip on the cel-shaded graphics, but I thought the game was beautiful.
There were some seriously epic moments in that game. It's too bad a lot of people didn't like it.

Fantastic game, I love both styles and now I always buy the handheld games and the console games, both are so good. Wind Waker had a very nice charm about it, and the island idea was really refreshing after exploring fields for so long. One of the only Zelda games I've played that I've never finished (never found all the Triforce pieces)

I'm still playing Wind Waker, any chance i got to play that game i play it to my fingers go numb. Just the idea of exploring everywhere by sea is just amazing. Skyward sword is supposed to be just like that, but with the sky. Honestly Exploring different areas makes the game feel more, real. No one likes going to one spot finish the quest and go to the next spot. Wind Waker gave you an option to do what you wanted.

Oh yes I did. Wind Waker had some great attributes.
First I love how the improved Link's interaction with the environment. You could shimmy across ledges. The updated sword fighting. You could pick up enemy weapons. The boomerang got a nice upgrade.
The game also had a lot of charm. It really felt like you were playing a cartoon. The enemies had great animations and the special effects looked extremely slick. It is without a doubt a very pretty game and its graphics will hold up for... probably forever.
It's definitely one of the games which promotes exploration, certainly moreso than Twilight Princess and OoT. It was always incredibly exciting to be sailing and come up upon an undiscovered island. I really enjoyed the seemless transition from boat to land, and I appreciate how there were no loading times in the overworld. That really made everything feel connected, along with how they intertwined legends and lore (like the Ghost ship) to link two locations across the sea. But I didn't find this to always be great. At times I knew where I wanted to go and just wanted to get there, so sailing did feel like a chore for a good while. And sometimes I needed to change directions frequently, which was made cumbersome by the wand and how you had to stop the boat any time you wanted to use something other than the sail. I also would have wished there were more big islands to explore.

I LOVED Wind Waker! The music, graphics, and exploration were amazing.
The treasure hunt near the end was a bit lame but overall it was a fantastic game.

Wind Waker starts out really slow, but the last half of the game is amazing! At first I questioned the art style of the game. Over time I really grew to appreciate it.

One of my favorite Zelda titles. I'm biased though because I've loved the franchise since the NES days. If I had to pick a least favorite it would have to be Majora's Mask. Absolutely adored Wind Waker though.

Yeah I enjoyed it. At first I was a bit turned off by the cel-shading, but in the end I was ok with it. Didn't think it was great but it seemed different enough that I liked it.
Thought I would really not like the sailing aspect but I thought it was decent also. It seemed a bit much at times.
Not my favorite Zelda by any means but nothing exciting or terrible either. I give it a B/B+.

Gotta say I played most of it and it just didn't do it for me. I was turned off by the graphics I think.

I have to say, I haven't played it yet. It still sits on my shelf, though!
I think I'll enjoy it when I get to it. The graphics of PH and ST didn't turn me off and I immensely enjoyed those games.

I loved Wind Waker! It might not have been the best Zelda, but it was a lot of fun to play through. I really loved the intro to that game too.
