I'm working half a day today, and then I'm off until Tuesday! No big plans this weekend, especially since we are under a fireworks ban due to the drought and wildfires that are still going on. Part of my wife's family is having a reunion tomorrow, so we will make an appearance at that. We might meet another couple for dinner at The Melting Pot this weekend, too. Otherwise, I'll be catching up on my gaming.

However, parents are throwing a huge shin-dig at their place Monday. Beer, BBQ, pool, whole nine yards. It's that thing that's getting my GF and I through this weekend.

Yeah, I just went to it for the first time a few months ago. It exceeded my expectations. It also exceeded my wallet. We got a coupon for 2 couples eating for the price of 1, so i think we're just gonna split the tab.
