What will you be doing this weekend? Saturday I have a wedding to go to. Sunday, I think, after finally planting some garden variety tomatoes (yeah it's late but better late than never) and cutting the grass, I will fire up the ole PS3 and check out a couple of my new games. I just picked up Bioshock (finally), Alpha Protocol (again finally), Trinity Souls of Zill Oll, LA Noire, and Dragon Age 2. I really need to check out Trinity. But I keep wanting to throw in Bioshock as well. We shall see...

Working today, pool party and Gold Cup final tomorrow, and then yard work on Sunday. Hopefully have time to throw in some games here and there.

Tonight I'll watch the NHL Draft when I get home from work.
I'll be taking my son to a birthday party Saturday afternoon and Saturday night I'll be getting some gaming in, try to get a bit further in L.A. Noire and put some time into Mortal Kombat.
Sunday is up in the air.

I didn't realize the NHL draft was tonight. It'a amazing how hockey and the NBA are on almost the exact same schedule.

Working all day today. Installing Sacred 2 on the PC when I get home, waiting for girlfriend to set up her new room at her new apartment. Then going to finishing moving out of my old apartment and cleaning it out for inspection (I want my deposit dammit).
Saturday is a lazy day, probably do some games and pool. That night is my bud's 30th, it's a surprise birthday but he already knows about it because he's twisting it and proposing to his girlfriend. I'm happy for him.
Sunday is finishing touches on the apartment, and then down the road to my GF's dads to do their family June birthday celebration. He kept some crawfish on ice and it'll be his last boil of the season.
Not too shabby.

You guys seriously need to finish Bioshock. It is my favorite game this generation. The atmosphere and twist are great.

So next week I will have a case of the Mondays on Tuesday. But actually, it is almost Tuesday now so we are now that much closer to another weekend...I don't like to wish my life away but with my wife working night shift and this weekend being her weekend off, I wish it was Friday already. Haha! |

It is Friday again...
Firstly I would like to say "WOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOO!!!"
And secondly, I am excited for the 3 day weekend! So anyone have anything exciting going on this weekend? I think we are taking the kids to Kennywood Sunday. It is gonna be toasty out (upper 80's) but it should be a fun day. For anyone not familiar with Kennywood it is a fun amusement park in Pittsburgh. They have 5 Roller Coasters, including the Phantom's Revenge which I know used to hold records for biggest drop and fastest speed on a coaster, back when it was named The Steel Phantom. Then there is the Thunderbolt, a great wooden coaster which my son is now tall enough to ride so all four of us can ride it.
Going there brings back a lot of childhood memories so I can not wait to go. Greasy Potato Patch fries, yummy corn dogs, tasty lemonade, amazing funnel cakes...not for the diet minded. Otherwise, it is gonna be an outdoorsy weekend with yardwork and cleaning up around the house. And now that my PS3 is working again, maybe I can get into one of my newly acquired games.

No 3 day weekend for me. I have to work on both Friday and Saturday but I am off Sunday and Monday. Either way I hope everyone who gets one enjoys their long weekends.

This Friday sucks... someone stole my cat. I say that someone stole it because that cat never set foot outside my fence. Never. Even when he saw me going out, he would never leave. I got home at 8pm last night, and searched for her until 2am, all over the neighborhood. Nothing. This morning, searched a little bit before going to work, and nothing. I don't even... i don't have any hope that i will get the cat back.
