I don't know if this is the right board, as it is a multiplatform game, i didn't want to post it in the 360 board.
So, who is going to get it? I have pre-order on Amazon.co.uk i love all of Mizuguchi games, i love this kind of trippy game with lots of lights and electronic soundtracks. And i have Kinect, can't wait to play this game.

I'm intrigued, but not ready to commit yet. Would you be willing to post your impressions when you have a chance to play it?

I know this was supposed to be a must have Kinect title but at full price I am not that interested for it.

I don't know what are the full prices there, but amazon.co.uk is selling the game at half the price of a new game here. Games new are 60 euro, Child Of Eden is at 30.

I am interested in the game, but I'm not sure I want to pay full price for it. It seems like a game that should be a $15 XBLA game to me. Maybe that's just misconception on my part though.

Ok, I got this from gamefly yesterday, so I will give a few thoughts on my experience thus far: Pros -Fantastic music. It really sets the mood. -Amazing backdrops. This game really is about the sensory experience, and it shows. -Easy controls if using the controller.Cons -You really need lots of room to utilize the Kinect. This isn't necessarily a con for this game alone, but I had some trouble getting my living room and sensor bar in a good enough position. When I did, I still was not happy and ended up missing quite a bit. In the end, I gave up and switched to controller. -The levels/worlds are fun, but there really isn't a whole lot here content-wise. It doesn't surprise me that this is selling at a lower MSRP than the standard 360 game price. Keep in mind, though, that I'm not too far in, and there could be lots of hidden stuff here. On the surface though, it seems pretty limited. I'm enjoying it overall. I'd recommend it as a rental or cheap buy.

This is the most important Pro for me, being that I don't currently have a Kinect is easy controls with a standard controller. I'm glad to see that using a standard controller doesn't appear to hamper the enjoyment of the game as i really would like to play it.
The game looks like such a beautiful and unique experience. I'll either rent it or buy it when it drops in price though since I believe the game is only 90 minutes long tops.
I appreciate the impressions!

I'm definately getting this for 360 and play it with Kinect. Pretty much all the reviews I've read state that Kinect does indeed make it that much better. Joystiq even went as far as calling it a "religious experience".

Your comments about the Kinect sensor are counter to everything else I've read that's said they found it to be the superior input method. I wonder if it's an issue of distance. Perhaps you need to be closer so that smaller movements of your arm will cover larger distance across the camera's field of view. Just a thought from someone who hasn't tried it and therefore can't really speak on the matter.

I picked up the game yesterday and only played through the first Archive. I have to say that I'm very impressed with how the Kinect sensor seems to track very fluently and even seems to be more graceful than navigating the main Kinect dashboard. It just feels very in sync with your hand and its great. I'm trying to take my time with the game since i know its short.

Well, I have played other Kinect games and not had this issue. I'm glad other people seem to be having positive experiences with it, though.
Good point about the draw distance, nac. I had tried backing up and moving forward, but at this point I'm starting to think it may be an issue of the height that the sensor is at. I may try and adjust that next time I play!

Yeah I was surprised to that you said the controller was the better option. I don't have the game and don't plan on getting it because it just doesn't look like a game that will appeal to me but everything I read said that this was the first game that utilizing the Kinect was better then using a controller.

The only thing I can think of is that I moved the sensor at some point and it is not at a good angle now. Otherwise, I just don't know. I played Kinect Adventures a little while back and never had a single issue. /shrug I still recommend it, whether you use Kinect or not.

I've read that the kinect method Is an incredible experience and you can really get lost in it, hypnotic like .........
However, it is quite inaccurate and although fun if your going for high scores you'll need the joypad method

This looks neat. I might have to pick this up when the price drops. I really enjoy Dance Central and Zumba fitness on Kinect. Best dance and exercise games ever. However my game backlog right now is ridiculous.
