Fortune Street - Mario/DragonQuest Boardgame

I thought this one was pretty interesting, a new Nintendo boardgame for the Wii NOT called Mario Party.



It's called Fortune Street and features characters from both the Mario and Dragon Quest universes. It appears to have mini games a la Mario Party but according to Joystiq.com the actual game is more akin to Monopoly.

This is the first time the series has came to North America, but apparently there have been a few iterations in Japan including a DQ/Final Fantasy crossover.

This looks pretty cool! Me and my sisters love playing the Mario Party games.

This is insane that we are getting this game.

I tend to try to follow the Japanese gaming scene and I saw this come out a while ago and thought we'll never get this one.
