I hope H4 Deals more with the start of the flood, that would completly tie down the series origins, but yet still they could just steal another book and make it about that. The only book that comes to mind for me is The Flood

Too bad it isn't Holiday of this year. My cousin and I played the crap out of the last few Halos. Got to love the co-op fun that these games supply.

I'm really iffy on this. I don't like the fact that Bungie's not involved.

I'm not a big Halo fan, but I'll still be interested to see how the game turns out with 343 at the helm.

I think it's pretty safe to assume that since this is going to be the start of a new Trilogy that we'll be facing a new antagonist. At least I hope that's the case.

Looks like it picks up right where 3 ended. About time we found out what happens to Master Chief.

The only thing that could have happened is he kills arbiter and they keep fighting on the Covenant Planet.

Yeah, but I trust Frank O'Connor.

Additionally, Sondiame, there probably won't be too much about the origins of the flood (although I could be wrong) as this game probably takes place years, even decades into the future.

Yeah, who knows when this will actually take place. This is the most excited I've been about a Halo game since 3 though. I hope that it goes back to the whole "you're alone against the world" kinda thing. I miss that, and I think that's why I didn't like the last couple games.

I believe Frank O when he said they have been working on this for a few years. i remember when MS/343 was doing all that hiring a few years ago.

My Point...I just think they have really focused on ever nook and cranny of this new trilogy and this upcoming game.

I bet the whole story is probably fleshed out and I think it is important to them to even surpass the heights that Bungie reached.

I kind of hope they take out the stuff that was in Reach, though. Like the jetpacks and stuff.
