Wow so much negativity...
What i'm really hoping for with this new system is online play being alot stronger than xbl and psn combined, but i dont think thats possible with nintendo batting for it. People don't understand that Graphics arent everything and instead of quality over quanity it goes to say with nintendo's days its been Fun,Innovation,Coolness>Graphics. So it would be a great thing to add PSO2 to the Wii2 like they did with PSO1. The Wii Only had 2 games,2 Good Onlines games(Tri and Kart) I just hope that they just boost the graphics and start adding in some more multiplayer friendly games.

For those looking for official information: e3.nintendo.com/Specifically the hardware specs: e3.nintendo.com/hw/#/aboutI know I'll be reserving from GameStop so I can trade-in my Wii console and maybe some PS3 games towards it or games for it. The backwards compatability is a big sell for me. Also, if EA Sports starts making their NHL franchise for the Wii U Sony will have to do something pretty darn impressive for me to stay interested in the PS3 and I'm not big on online gaming

See I feel like I'm being pulled in half, because the Nintendo fan in me really wants to buy it day one regardless, but then there's the part of me that was disappointed with the Wii. I really want to see what kind of third party support it's going to get, and if Nintendo's going to bring out any new IPs. While I enjoy most of their franchises, I'd like to see what they could do with something new.

- Tekken (Namco Bandai)
- Assassin's Creed (Ubisoft)
- Dirt (Codemasters)
- Madden NFL (EA Sports)
- Rayman (Ubisoft)
- Batman: Arkham City (Warner Bros Interactive)
- Ninja Gaiden III: Razor's Edge (Tecmo)
- Aliens: Colonial Marines (SEGA)
- Killer Freaks from Outer Space (Ubisoft)
- Darksiders II (THQ)
- Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon (Ubisoft)
- Metro: Last Light (THQ)
- Battlefield 3 (Electronic Arts)
- LEGO: City Stories (Traveler's Tales)
The above titles are already listed on IGN pending reviews. There's also a project listed from Monolith Software but the only information on it is that it's an Action title. I'm curious what incarnations of Tekken and Assassin's Creed those will be. I'm very excited about Darksiders II and Ninja Gaiden III: Razor's Edge. I was going to get the former for the PS3 but I may just wait for the Wii U just because there might be some additional fun using the control-pad, etc. LEGO: City Stories is basically the LEGO version of GTA. Definitely want to play that one! I know they won't until after Christmas 2012 but if EA Sports announces NHL 13 for the Wii U I'll be in heaven

I don't really know who the wiiu is supposed to be for. The core gamers already have a 360/PS3, why would these gamers buy a wiiu? Certainly not for the 3rd party games, they already can get those now; it's not for a much more powerful system if it's more powerful it wont be by a whole lot. The biggest difference is the controller, but it looks like you cant even have 2 controllers. I'm interested in the wiiu but I don't know if the controller will be as big of a hit as the wii's wiimote was. I see it more as a nice feature like 3D on the 3DS. The controller is nothing new, we have tablet gaming already, the ipad also has multi touch, and in a year or two the ipad will have graphics close to what wiiU would have. So if Nintendo is hoping to gain that audience of the tablet market, I think they are too late for that.
