Hopefully it'll be better than FF13, but I do question if releasing a direct sequel to one of the most derided FF's in memory is a smart idea.

Cinematic action? That's new.
I'm just hoping they build on the concepts they introduced in the first one.
Adding a more open world, with less emphasis on linear progression.
One can only hope.

ill end up getting it.. not for $60 bucks though.
I love high production RPGs so I'll end up playing it no matter what.

There was a small literary piece put out by Square-Enix which described the events for each person following the evacuation. I'll see if I can dig it up, but the point is I believe she's stuck in an alternate reality, possibly her own conscious. |

That was a really cool read. It definitely makes me more excited to see what happens in FFXIII-2. One of the lines that Noah says is something like "I want a future where everyone lives." And I do recall in the first game the part where everyone had the same dream in which Vanille and Fang were also in it. I guess I got attached to the characters more than I thought.  |
