I'm in the wii mode so I'm lookin at my wii titles that I've never got too, Okami is one. What's it like? Like how does it play? The game looks amazing, the environments look incredible.

its very interesting actually, you draw and stuff to attack and beat puzzles, and the story is mind blowing itself.

Can't speak for Wii version, but I've put plenty hours into that game on the ps2 version.

Does the Wii version accept the usage of the wavebird or the classic controller, or is it a must to use the wiimote?
I need to pick it up for PS2 just for collection purposes! Glad you guys like it though, the graphics look so awesome.

I've heard a lot of people say the controls are better for the PS2 but it's kinda neat to draw each thing with the wiimote. No you have you use the wiimote for the controller, it needs the controller and nun-chuck.

I hope it controls as good as Super Mario Galaxy, im not a huge fan of the wiimote but i feel SMG controls pretty flawlessly.

Okami for the Wii is fantastic. That being said there are some quick time draw events in the game that need to be very accurate.
Those sections had me throwing my wii mote around the room, but it still is a fantastic and even with those sections I still really love that game.

I love Okami, I would definitely recommend it. I have not yet beat it - as I can never find the time to play it - but what I have played of it has been a blast. I've played it for both wii and ps2 and, personally, I prefer the game for the wii. It just feels like you have more control over what you're doing. But, like every game, there are a few frustrating parts. So, I suppose you should be persistent before picking this game up.
The graphics are amazing and the gameplay is just outright fun. I recommend you at least rent it to try it out if not buy it.

I thought it was alright, though it's one of those games you play muted The soundtrack is incredible. I seriously can't believe I'm hearing this. Anyway, I recommend playing it in the Wii. It's an awesome game. One of my favorites last gen. Let us know what you think. |
