Is the newest Medal of Honor any good? I know I can get it cheap now so I was just curious.

I picked it up recently and have been playing through it a little.
It seems really easy. I'm playing on the toughest difficulty and not having an issue at all. The gameplay seems like your standard FPS, nothing really different to bring to the table. The sound is pretty good, it has some of those Bad Company 2 sounds, where your hearing will drop out for a bit if a grenade goes off near you. The story seems fine so far but again nothing major. Overall it feels like a solid FPS with nothing to make it stand out from the crowd.
I didn't try any multiplayer yet.

The only reason to get it is to gain access to the BF3 beta.

The only reason to get it is to gain access to the BF3 beta. Pretty much. I finished the single player, which was short and uninspired. It's a decent FPS that brings nothing new to the table. I haven't tried the multiplayer, but I was in the beta, and I didn't think it was all that great; it felt like a poor man's COD to me. |
