Its always been one of my all time favorite series since PS1 pretty much. The original especially was a gem.
Whats amazing though is i have Wild Arms 5 still sealed, i think i need to open that sucker up eventually and play it. I been meaning to get too it, but just never have yet. I would of thought Wild Arms 6 would of made an appearance by now.

Criminally underrated series. Always liked the western motif mixed in with classical JRPG elements.

Yea Neo, its one of those series I feel got lost in the mix of PS1 rpgs like Grandia, Star Ocean etc...
Just seems Wild Arms never hit that "point", which is a bummer.

Wild Arms is one of those games where RPGs were absolute gold in the 90's. I can't recall if it was before or after FFVII at the moment but I do know that it had an incredible soundtrack and the characters were fun. People will disagree with me on this but I think it's a better RPG then FFVII just because it's built as a true JRPG rather then JRPG with cinematics every hour or so to 'enhance' the story. Sorry, cinematics or FMVs even to this day just kill me because they are so unneeded. Stories need to flow as a constant like Half Life where the game never cuts away from the game itself and lets the story evolve around you (Elder Scrolls is a good example). Now, were there cinematics in Wild Arms? Sure, the opening intro and probably a few here and there...but it wasn't thrown at you like all of the Final Fantasy's (speaking VII through current). Cinematics are wasted resources for a cheap few minutes of your time. It may look good, but it doesn't enhance the gameplay whatsoever.
