I just don't like how I have to assign a character to a server. It's annoying. Free character transfers are coming today. You can transfer once a week. It's free? Wow. Kinda puts Blizzard to shame since they charge $25 for it. |

Well... that's because Blizzard can get away with it. Trion's free transfers is more or less a band aid for having low pop servers. Most people will take a free transfer off the low pop server, and Trion can later close the server without much repercussion. Announcing server mergers lowers overall morale, and makes people think the game is dying. Blizzard didn't need to throw free transfers, because they had/have a huge playerbase, therefore they can milk it. |

Trion currently has reduced prices this whole month of July for Subs -- if you pay for it in advance. If you pay month by month, no changes but prices start with the 3 month sub being $36.87 ($12.29/month - 18% off); 6 month sub being $61.74 ($10.29/month - 31% off); and 12 month subs being $107.88 ($8.99/month - 40% off). Great time to resub if you're thinking about it  |

I get tempted to resub! Which server ya on Marrian? I loved my warrior and mage, dok and tasty can vouch for my tanking uberness  have they made any major class adjustments recently? |

I just wish i wasnt so tempted with other games, if i werent id be playing Rift like i used to play Camelot. But thats what happened when i played DAOC all those years early on its what created or helped create my massive and disgusting backlog of games |

Despite the horrible FPS I get when I play it, I'm going to try again. We lost another potential raider in my WoW guild to Rift so I'm like V.V now.
Any way we can get a list up of who plays on what shard? I'd like to meet up with someone I know.

Dok ,so you said before that they made getting some of that gear a little easier in terms of how many dungeon romps you need to do?
I may consider coming back, but i honestly dont know if id stay on sunrest...i would consider maybe going to a populated PvE server and just enjoying battlegrounds.

I played rift and enjoyed playing my Rogue. I just didnt have the heart to stick it out. I needed a break from MMOs for a while.
I am waiting patiently for SWTOR and then I will get back into MMOing.

So they have free server transfers?
The thing is if i started to play again, hate leavin my buddy Dok and Tasty! But i just totally dont have patience anymore for pure pvp servers, and i would move to that server what is it...sea something? Im not sure if id move my main warrior or move my mage and try to get him to 50.

Tasty isn't subbed at the moment, and I don't sign on too often. I only sign on now to knock out a few water rifts for the facelessman mask then log. Waiting for the mythical "PVP patch" Trion tooted their horn about. So go ahead, and x-fer man. Sunrest is full of open world PVP right now, but it's mostly zerg v zerg. Unsure if you'd like it too much. The guild, and I are now attempting raiding stuff, though, if you were at all interested.

Im torn on it overall, just not really sure...i been enjoying playing so many other games in being away from it. But ill be pondering it, i wouldnt mind have Rift there to just plug away at by running some dungeons and what not but just not sure yet. Dok you said they changed those plaques right and how long dungeon runs are right?

Well, I made a toon on Deepwood. Since I don't see any consensus going on, I will just modify the OP and let everyone know that the "unofficial" G.O. server/faction will be Deepwood/Defiant. This is subject to change, of course. Now's the time to chime in if you wish to be somewhere else! I know that Runus will be joining me there.

Well, I made a toon on Deepwood. Since I don't see any consensus going on, I will just modify the OP and let everyone know that the "unofficial" G.O. server/faction will be Deepwood/Defiant. This is subject to change, of course. Now's the time to chime in if you wish to be somewhere else! I know that Runus will be joining me there. We will be making a guild. But just be aware that Neo and I are not super hardcore MMO guys. We play pretty casually. So don't expect any hardcore raiding. Other than that we just level and run dungeons as we go. But the more the merrier. Always nice to have friends in MMOs. |
