Absolutely, without a doubt....incredible. I am finally pressing onward with the game and its a sheer spectacle in every sense of the word. Honestly what an epic, adventure this game is. Ill do a review on it when i beat it but man, its a freaking unreal game.

Lords of Shadow, its the only one I've played. I played it at my friends house, really liked it, I kinda want to get it so I can play the DLC.

Yea thats which i meant Mod, i fixed that ha...the game is freaking just...one of the most adventurous games ever. The atmosphere is simply astounding. There are a couple flaws, but ill touch upon those in my review.
But for a video game, its almost priceless.

Yeah, I really enjoyed it and I think it is the best looking Xbox game I've played. I'll stop talking now and wait for your review. Haha, hopefully in a day or so...im trying to just finish it so i can make the review. I would love to 1000/1000 this sucker, but man i dont know if i have the testicular fortitude |

Honestly i have to say i dont think anyone who is a lover of video games could hate this game, its amazing. It just doesnt have 100% castlevanias feel too it, but what vania feel it does have, is amazing.
This is a game where i know people are entitled to opinions and thats fine but a gamer to hate this game, i just gotta question the motive...big time. The game is simply incredible, it just has some flaws with cam issues here and there and the music while amazing, has a more LoTR effect. But the game is astounding.

I agree. Loved the game. I felt that it got a little difficult at times and some of the puzzles were confusing but overall, loved it. I'm a huge castlevania fan and this was easily the best 3d incarnation of the franchise.

Dunno what to think now I've heard similar conflicting reports as well. I shied away from it because the last time they tried Castlevania in 3D it was a disaster. So Seth, pretty much if I go into it like it's not a Castlevania title I should walk away happy? |

Pretty much Delt. It's a mix if lord of the rings and Vania. The 2nd part is very castlevania-ish. But if you just don't even think Vania, I swear this game is phenomenal. It's a masterpiece, it just would baffle me who may be disappointed in this game, it's a gem big time!
You gotta try it guys, I'd love to hear what you guys think.

I think the only thing for me is that it feels like a LoTR type game *at times*, but....i certainly feel the vania in this game. The ruins, the castles, the landscapes, the sunsets...all classic vania. It brings castlevania to life imho, simply a gem of a game. |

Its one of my top 5 unexpected favorites ever. If the music had been more CV like, it would be my favorite CV ever by a mile.
SotN slightly edges it out though because i simply LOVED its soundtrack.

CastleVania LoS is absolutely amazing. The last boss before the final boss is killer!
It's a great game but I would say where it falls a tiny bit short is the controls. I've mostly noticed it though on Paladin difficulty mostly because there is a lot more action there. When things start getting intense, it becomes more difficult to cancel out of an attack in order to roll or jump out of the way. Also, because the camera is fixed, when you're moving around sometimes the camera changes on you and you accidentally run into an enemy or you roll the wrong way.
With that said, they're minor flaws and you don't really notice them unless you play in the highest difficulty. I recommend everyone at least play this game once.

I think my major gripe about the game is every time you beat a level it took you out of the game and put you in the damn book. It broke the immersion for me.
