Fess up, what big series have you not played?

I've got plenty but one I've started the other day, Half-life, I never got to them at all. And so far it is pretty awesome.

Most of the major Sony/PS3 franchises. Gran Turismo, Killzone, Resistance, Uncharted, LittleBigPlanet, to name a few.

I gotta say Uncharted is simply one of the most amazing game experiences, and 2 is even better although i STILL need to finish part 2 so im guilty there also.

Theres so much. Silent Hill 2-4, RE4, MGS2-3, FF9-10, most JRPGs actually.

Dont! Its terrible and ruins everything about the franchise lol. Its the equivalent to Matrix 2-3 in terms of what it did to the franchise.

I tried to get into the Dragon Age series but it just didn't grab me. I haven't tried Assassin's Creed yet.

Never touched Uncharted or Killzone on PS3, I've never played through a regular Final Fantasy, I tried FF7 briefly when my ex owned it and finished that Wii Crystal Bearers game but that hardly counts. I've never played Kingdom Hearts either.

I haven't played Uncharted, but does that really count as a "big" series? I dunno, it's just two games and from what I've heard, people really only care about the 2nd one.

I've not played the console versions of Assassin's Creed, so I guess you could count that. I've also never really played the Splinter Cell series, the Virtua Fighter series, nor whatever the FPS dujor is. Borderlands, Blink, Metro 2033, Bulletstorm, etc. Mostly because I'm really not a fan of FPS games.

I guess I could say all of the Elder Scroll games. None of those games by Bethesta has grabbed me. I'm sure their great, I just don't like the combat or something.

nah, Uncharted imo HAS become a pretty big series... you're right that a lot of dudebros or mainstream people only care about the second but the first game is still a very good PS3 game and i loved it... besides with the third about to come out and possibly topping everything the first 2 did, i'd say it's a MUST play at this point!

I've got some biggies:

mario , final fantasy, resident evil, half lifes and pretty much all RPG's tbh. The closest I've ever got to a RPG is fallout3

I've tried getting into Half-Life 2 several times but cannot bring myself to complete it.

Any of the big PC franchises like Starcraft, Warcraft, Sims, Civilization, etc. I've never really had a gaming PC.

I just bought Mass Effect 1 and 2 on the Steam sale this weekend. Never played it before.

Seems like I've played most older big series, though.

I guess there's some newer stuff I've never bothered to get into, like Killzone, Sly Cooper, Jack and Daxter, etc.

Oh, I've never played a Sims game or pretty much any MMO. No music games for me, either.

and you won't need one now (at least not for the first iterations of those games you listed lol) to play those

All of them this gen except GTA, RDR and COD

I bought a few like Halo 3 and the first Gears but never got close to beating them, I used to waste a ton on games I never played. This year I will probably only buy NCAA 12, Madden 12, NHL 12 and MW3
